Cyborg is a business rule engine built on top of Business Central with a user interface to allow users to define business rules without customization. Rules can be created which are based on some data entity, conditions for execution as well as the outcome can be configured through graphical user interface. Rules are stored as data in the system. Any rule and be enabled or disabled.  It consists of following components

  1. Business Rule Repository – A database for storing the business rules as defined by the business users.
  2. Business Rule Designer - An intuitive user interface that allows business users to define, design, document and edit business rules.
  3. Reporting Component - An intuitive user interface that allows business users to raise query and report existing rules
  4. Rules Engine Execution Core - The actual programming code that enforces the rules.

Supported Editions:

This app supports both the Essential and Premium editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
